Synopsis:

Picking a boyfriend can be murder, but for Annalisa Winslett, it might end up being the literal death of her.

No one at Pensacola High School suspects the girl they know as Annalisa McKinnis to be a wealthy heiress in hiding, but things begin to unravel when two new guys enroll. Both guys are gorgeous, and both are trying to win her over. The only problem is that one of them has a million dollar contract to put a bullet in her.

This book is the beginning of a wild ride in a trilogy that will make you wonder if the power of love can truly conquer all.

When her pure and innocent heart is offered to him, will this cold and empty hitman fall, or will he remain untouchable?

Rating: 4/5

I'm a little puzzled with this one. The story itself was really good, I enjoyed the plot and the suspense surrounding the ''who wants Annalisa's death'' and how she will survive or not to this whole situation.

I won't reveal you the name of the hitman, so you'll have to read Untouchable to know it!

As the blurb mentions it, Annalisa will fall in love for her hitman, whoever he is... I liked the fact that the hitman has no choice to do his bidding, even if he might have some feeling for Annalisa.

I had a hard time to ''believe'' the fact that Annalisa could fall in love with someone who's supposed to kill her. I think that Annalisa took control of the situation and had the greatest idea, to stay alive as longer as she can, so thanks to the creativity of the author, Lindsay Delagair, for not going into cheesy cliché with that aspect of the story.

Unforgivable (Untouchable, #2) Untraceable (Untouchable, #3)

I liked the arrival of the second mysterious guy and his appearance will provoke some major action in the story. Both of them want Annalisa, for different reason. They both sexy, handsome, looking dangerous and the best aspect of them were the fact that they both fight for her attention. I love when men are fighting over a woman!

But I also had some difficulties with some aspect of this book.

The hitman was a bit over the edge on 50% of the book, probably because of the situation but some scenes were a bit harsh. He treats Annalisa like she belongs to him but always mentions the fact that he's going to kill her. Buzz killer!

Some of his interactions with Annalisa were unbelievable! How can you say or do those things to her and then proclaim that you'll kill her no matter what and/plus from her POV, not wanting to turn around, run and scream away! I know Annalisa is resigned but at this point, its masochist!

The family of the hitman. They were either very involved in the fulfillment of the hitman ''job'' or, very involved in helping Annalisa and her relationship with the hitman. In addition, some members have a job as dubious and criminal as the hitman's work and the others, work in the field of security and law as a police officer.

Anyway, those aspects didn't bother to the point to put down the book. The action in this story and the weird relation between Annalisa and the hitman really hooked me and I devoured this book. I liked the ending even if some of you might think it's a typical ''happy ending'' but you have to know that it's a series! The adventure doesn't stop here! I'm pretty intrigued with the sequel!
